Community Projects

Over the past 15 years, Royds has attracted many contracts to deliver community focused projects both within Bradford and further afield. Below are a few examples of those successful projects past and present. Here at Royds we are always keen to discuss new projects or contracts which we can deliver directly ourselves, or work alongside other main contractors to deliver. If you feel your organisation could work with Royds, then please call Raj Panesar on 01274 355600 or email raj@royds.org.uk

Health Means Business

Health Means Business

HMB is an innovative programme delivered for Wakefield District NHS that seeks to help workers across the district lead healthier lives.

With the help of funding from the Big Lottery Fund's Well-being programme, the service aims to support employers and their workforces to adopt a 'prevention is cheaper than cure' attitude. It works by supporting businesses to develop and roll-out a tailor-made programme of health promotion activity.

From nothing, The Royds team have built up widespread awareness of the scheme with Wakefield-based employers and successfully delivered a number of personalised in-company ‘work and wellbeing’ sessions.

To date the team has helped over 142 businesses and 396 employees.

Health Means Business is commissioned by NHS Wakefield District and funded through The Big Lottery Fund’s Well-Being programme.
